Ocean View Penthouse Right on Bávaro Beach, Punta Cana

Very large open space to enjoy the beautiful scenery. My favorite was laying in bed and watching the sunrise right out my window! So beautiful. I felt very safe and the hosts were immediate response with any and all requests. I would return!

If you stopped to look at this listing because of the amazing beach front views and thought “those can’t be real”… let me tell you first hand they absolutely are and are somehow even better than the pictures! After spending a week exploring, we concluded that Vasiliy’s place is literally the best spot to stay on the whole beach and that’s not an exaggeration. You are surrounded by resorts on both sides. There are only like 2-3 private lots right where Vasiliy’s place is. All the resorts have nice beaches but their rooms are far off the beach with ok views but nothing like this place. Even the ones that are on the beach are one story and have a cruise ship sized balcony to sit on. Vasiliy’s place is the only one on the whole beach that is 4-5 stories and you get the top of the top with this listing! Everyone waking by on the beach will be looking up at you jealously and wondering who the heck can afford to stay there. I will say Vasiliy was an excellent host. His communication was by far the best of any rental I’ve done on this app. Not only was he very fast to respond to every question, he also sent through many suggestions for things to do, places to visit, restaurants to try (more on that later) and transportation options. This was all very helpful and much appreciated. As I mentioned, the views are somehow even better in person than they look on the photos. The water is perfectly blue, the sand really is that color and is the nice soft and not hot to walk on kind aka perfect. We spent so much time just sitting on the two balcony’s looking out at the view it was crazy. Out the front view there are several palm covered umbrellas that you can use. Make sure to get out early as many people chair save with towels and not all the chairs are nice (first world problems, I know…). There are places literally on both sides of the apartment that serve frozen drinks right on the beach. Most will even bring them right to you for a small fee (pina coladas run about 8-10 USD but are worth it. If you can walk a block off the beach this will drop to 5-7 USD on average. Next door there is a pseudo night club that had it going pretty loud on Sunday night with a DJ. I had noise canceling headphones on in the master bedroom and could still hear it clearly. While that was a little annoying, it was just the one night. We were there all week and it never got that loud again. Most nights it was totally quiet. The wind on this side of the island is pretty constant. At first it’s a bit annoying because it’s literally like being in a car wash when the dryers are on - I would guess 20+ mph wind constant on 6 of our 7 nights. The plus side of this is that it keeps it nice and cool. When we would walk into town for dinner just one block in it was very warm and almost uncomfortable. We were all happy to turn the corner back to the apartment and get our ocean breeze back! The local area was very safe. At no point did we ever feel unsafe for any reason. There are several gates to get to where the apartment is and we didn’t notice any “riff raff” the whole time. In fact, the local area was really nice for waking. We did not rent a car and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone. If you want to go for an excursion most have transportation included. A car would’ve been a constant headache. Just a couple minute walk gets you all the essentials - mini mart, currency exchange, dozens of restaurants, souvenir shops etc. By far the best restaurant we found was La Bruha. It’s about a 5-10 min walk but worth every minute. Best drinks we found (and we tried a lot…), also best food. It wasn’t even close. It was the only place we went to more than once. The fish taco’s are an app, but they were the best meal we had. The last night we all went there and all 6 of us got them for our meal haha. Food was not that expensive, but alcohol was. We spent more than double what we would here in the US for bottles of vodka, rum etc. other than that, everything was reasonable or cheaper than I expected. We did the Sanoa island excursion through Vasiliy and it was nice. The excursion itself was a bit of an adventure and if you don’t speak English you have to be a “go with the flow” kind of person to have a good time. The driver picked us up right outside the apartment which was awesome, but he took us to a gas station about 10 min away and stopped. There were a ton of other busses there but it looked like chaos to us. Couple times people came on our bus and asked us for tickets (which we didn’t have or need) and then eventually we were on our way after being transferred to another bus. Then we drove about an hour away and stopped at another “rest stop”, which was just a stop they put there to sell you things. Finally you get to the final stop and again get out with tons of other people. We walked 5 min through town to finally get to the beach where we are told we will be on the fast boat first (we didn’t know there was more than one kind of boat even). Eventually we got on and then started driving for 30/40 min. Eventually we stopped in a shallow spot and swam for 30 min or so and finally got our first drinks.

Very nice place.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Vasiliy’s place! The floor plan is great and the pictures are very accurate. The patio is definitely an extension of the living area and is immediately over the gorgeous beach. Vasiliy’s team is very responsive- they were great at arranging activities and transportation, and they came through for us even when our transportation needs changed at the last minute. Wonderful vacation- we’ll be back!

You couldn't ask for a better location or view right on the beach with plenty of space for our group. They made checking in and out of the unit a breeze, which was important not being familiar with the area.

Everything was perfect. The location was so convenient . Able to walk to restaurants and market. Don’t miss Soles next door for food and drinks! The Airbnb was clean, had everything we needed. Nice that there was a water cooler in the unit for drinking water. Vasily and his team were very engaged and helpful for all of our needs. And the view…absolutely amazing. We will be back.

Amazing place

This has been a lifetime experience. The place is impeccably beautiful. Pictures don’t do justice. Vasiliy was very helpful and prompt with his responses. Our personal assistant Serge was equally amazing. I will highly recommend this place as it literally is paradise on earth.

Amazing view & spacious villa! Being that we are ON the beach, it is simply breathtaking! The villa is very close to all to the strip of restaurants and about a 5-10 min drive to the main clubs/bar/lounges. Do keep in mind, there is a charge of the light usage aside from the villa itself. However, Sergio, our host, was very helpful throughout our stay in terms of checking in and making sure we felt at home! We had a great stay but with just minor tweaks to watch for. We had a private chef during our stay - he did mention he needed variety on the pots & pans. All rooms have their own bathroom but there wasn't a public bathroom within the house so it made it tedious for the chef to use on of our bathrooms for his own hygiene uses. Because we were all females, we were in need of a full body mirror! Lol! It is definitely something to add on for future stays. Other than that, it is definitely recommended! Our stay here was amazing. The host and his partners were also amazing and super helpful. They made us feel safe and right at home. What you see is exactly what you get and the view was breath taking. We had one issue with the power outage for a couple of hours but Vasiliy and his team worked quickly to get the issue resolved. I can not explain how absolutely amazing this place is. You will never find a better view than the one that you will wake up to in the master bedroom. It is paradise. Great communication. Fast/easy check in and out. This is one of my favorite airbnbs i’ve ever visited.

This was a beautiful Airbnb and the pictures coincide with the property. The views are stunning, however, the price for a one night stay is not really worth it. It could use a little TLC. The check in process was okay, the guy did the best he could given it was short notice and he had plenty of other properties to manage. In all, the property is pretty and the view is gorgeous, but a little overpriced.

Great location. Beautiful views. Had a slight power issue on the Island but my host did his best to try and accommodate us for the issue.

The best view on Bavaro Beach- stunning sun drenched mornings spent drinking coffee on our private terraces. Wonderful decor and many amenities. Would definitely rebook, a 5 star WOW!!

Everything was absolutely amazing. We stayed with 7 guests. The grounds are phenomenal. Keep in mind this is a 4th floor penthouse, so you will have to take stairs or an elevator down to the beach; however the beach is not far from the front door at all. Some of our guests have only ever stayed at resorts and this experience this week was outstanding and has them wanting to go back again in lieu of resorts. The staff (Sergio and Alberto) were remarkable with customer service and the way they were attentive to us for whatever our needs were.

This stay in Punta Cana was amazing! The house is beautiful the terrace/patio/deck was the place to be! We also loved the master bedroom. We were there in the middle of July and we did not run the air once, however we were there just my husband and I. We utilized the constant breeze off the ocean with opened sliding doors at all times! It saved us tremendously on the electric bill. Food is right outside the door/ lovely coffee shop that serves cappuccino, americano and other coffees! Pizza shop/Italian restaurant along with other fun restaurant close by. Serg, the assistant was great! He was very helpful. If you don’t have what’s app, get it because it’s the way of communication in Punta Cana! Ask as many questions before you come, the more you know, the better your stay will be. The activities in this area are plentiful and fun. I would definitely go back to this place again.

Very beautiful home with an amazing view. Pictures are exactly what the home looked like. Even bigger in person. A lot of space. Anna was very helpful with anything and also coordinated our covid testing. Area was very safe! Would definitely stay again.

Great view and location. The staffs are very responsive. The only negative is the AC in the main room isn’t cooling enough.

Wow, The penthouse has the most amazing view and as far as I can tell it is the best place on the beach. I loved the openness and it is so close to the beach. With the breeze we didn't need to use the AC much in the beach side bedroom. There are several great restaurants within walking distance so we didn't need a car and we picked up some groceries to make a few meals in. We didn't want to leave, this place is a paradise.

Customer service and responsiveness fantastic. Everything else: location, amenities, value were spot on and as described. Will definitely go back.

Definitely had a great experience staying at this beautiful beach House apt, both of the holes were great and very helpful we’re on here for anything I need it, and would definitely recommend anyone vacation here!!

My group of 6 people loved our stay here. The host Vasiliy was a great professional. Whenever I needed assistance or had any questions, he would respond to me right away and made everything so smooth. In addition to renting out the place, he can arrange anything from airport pickups and tours with quality service at a very competitive price. Anna, his partner host who provided us local assistance also showed us great hospitality. The place is in an area with many good restaurants nearby and is just like the photos. We really loved the huge outdoor area. I wish there was an extra frying pan in the kitchen and a couple other minor things I can think of but all in all it was a real nice place providing a truly great value for the price paid.

The property has breathtaking views. It’s so close to the ocean. The layout of the condo is very unique. My favorite areas of the condo were the master bedroom because you could open the floor to ceiling glass doors and have a remarkable view of the ocean and the terrace on the roof with a private cabana were exceptional. There is so much to do in the area that no car is needed. Uber is very inexpensive here. We felt very safe and it is in a great area. The host was very informative and always responded quickly. His assistant was so amazing with her recommendations, tips and any concerns we had. I would highly recommend the host and the property, we will definitely come back.

The space is as beautiful as the photos. We didn't want to go anywhere because the peaceful view to the turquoise sea was so exquisite. If the smallest thing went wrong Vasiliy was there to take care of it, from changing a lightbulb to replenishing the drinking water. Get the ceviche from TOC, the whole fish from the beach bar next door, and only drinks and atmosphere at Wacamole. Tip Francie, , who is in charge of the beach chairs, the first day and you will have chairs, which are included with the apartment, at your disposal almost before you think about going to the beach. The owner of the tiny pharmacy down the alley across from the big drive through pharmacy is an educator and very helpful.

ANNa was an amazing host. Even though we did not interact often( she likes to give guest their privacy) she is extremely nice. Her place is stunning as well, especially at sunrise ! We will definitely be booking again! Amazing villa.
